Commercial Conditions
The following terms outline the general commercial framework under which Babylon GT structures and executes commodity transactions.
All transactions are subject to formal contract execution and mutually agreed financial instruments.
These conditions are intended to establish clarity, compliance alignment, and procedural discipline prior to commercial engagement.
Engagement Scope
Babylon GT operates exclusively as a mandate-based international commodity trading intermediary.
We facilitate transactions between verified supplier mandates and qualified buyers under defined commercial and banking frameworks.
We do not act as retail distributors, stock holders, or speculative traders outside confirmed contractual agreements.
Counterparty Requirements
Buyers must provide complete corporate documentation, including company registration details and authorized signatory information.
Confirmation of acceptable financial instrument capability through a recognized banking institution is required prior to issuance of formal commercial documentation.
Banking Instruments
Transactions are executed exclusively through internationally recognized banking instruments, including but not limited to: Letter of Credit (L/C), Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC), Wire Transfer (TT) or other mutually agreed instruments.
All instruments must be issued by internationally recognized banks acceptable to the supplier mandate.
Pricing & Availability
Commodity pricing, availability, and shipment schedules remain subject to supplier allocation and prevailing international market conditions.
Formal offers are time-bound and valid only within the specified offer period.
Transaction Integrity
All transactions introduced and facilitated by Babylon GT are subject to non-circumvention principles.
Direct engagement with introduced counterparties outside agreed contractual frameworks is strictly prohibited.
Limitation of Role
Babylon GT facilitates structured commodity transactions between authorized parties.
Final contractual obligations, shipment performance, and banking compliance remain subject to the executed Sales and Purchase Agreement between transacting entities.
